Facebook beauty brands: most popular skincare
There is no other field in beauty that makes as many promises: skincare has to accomplish a lot to justify the sometimes astronomical prices. What better way to guide you through your shopping than to trust fellow consumers? Here are the top ten skincare brands, based on Stylophane Facebook Index.
It is striking that those labels emphasizing their organic procedures are doing particularly well right now: six of ten brands have made their eco-conscious philosophy part of their identity, including Carol's Daughter (leading the pack), Burt's Bees, Philosophy, Origins, L'Occitane, and Pangea Organics.
Also, it is interesting how - just as in fashion - the labels generating the most 'hype' fail to prove popular with the masses: La Prairie, for example, is not included in the list and with just over 2,000 fans barely makes the Silver
category on the index, which could have something to do with the label's price tags of up to $1,000.
